About the program:
The laboratory program is a four-year duration. The laboratory technician contributes to the development and application of new techniques to improve the process of diagnosing diseases. The program also aims to graduate diagnostic medical laboratory technicians with the ability to contribute to high-quality health care, nationally, regionally and internationally. The program provides special courses focusing on key areas of laboratory sciences such as hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunohematology, and histopathology and cytology. In addition, students will be introduced to molecular pathology, and its role in the diagnosis, treatment, control, and prevention of diseases.
